This painting is accompanied by a certificate from Papunya Tula Artists Pty Ltd, Alice Springs which reads in part: 'The secret-sacred Tingari site of Tarkulnga, near Lake Mackay, is depicted in this painting. In mythological times a group of Tingari Men were following a porcupine in the vicinity of this site. Because of the secret nature of events associated with the Tingari Cycle, no further information was given.'
