Catalogue text

This painting is accompanied by certificates of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which reads: 'This painting depicts designs associated with the Two Women Dreaming at the site of Munni Munni, south east of the Kintore community. These two women travelled over vast areas of the central desert stopping at rockhole and soakage water sites along the way. They performed dances and sang the songs associated with the areas through which they passed. The lines at the centre of the work represent the sandhills in the country through which they travelled.'
